Uneasiness.

[Xun Tian]

The day was sunny and clear. The planes blew with a gentle breeze that normally would lift the spirits of any individuals. Xun just sat on a rock staring out into the planes. He saw wild horses galloping in the distance. The sight was a wonder to him, he was still not used to this foreign land. Everything seemed to happen so fast, he deportation, his adaptation to American customs, even his work with his uncle seemed rushed.

Xun just stared at the horses in the distance, he often found peace in this area. It was an area that gave him the same peace that the woodland in his old village once did. But today not even the magnificent wilderness seemed to bring any relief to his troubled mind. His nightmares seemed to be getting worse, every night this week he would dream of that night when his parents were taken from him. All he would see were their terrified expressions looking up, after hearing a loud roar followed by a fiery explosion. It was at this point he would always wake up in a cold sweat. Despite protest uncle gave him the day off.

Xun sighed, "Why do I keep having these nightmares? Now there are spiritual entities running amok. What does it all mean?" he thought aloud. "If there are angels in town I wish one would help me." He thought to himself.

Uriel hadn't heard the prayer. She wasn't one to answer prayers like that either. She hated it actually. "Will and angel fix my problems? Will God Fix my problems?" No. No they won't. Usually they made more of a mess. But she was out, by herself, just walking, her wings out, her glow about her. Even in the sunlight she was beautiful. She knew she looked odd, after all, a lady shouldn't be wearing a skirt that short, but she really didn't care. There were bandits, and it was easier to fight with out a long sweeping skirt. Of course the 'short' skirt came down to about four inches below her knees, not really something to say was horrible.

But that's not the point. She noticed the boy, long before he noticed her, she quickly shifted, sending her wings away, and quieting her glow. She moved up to him. "What's a boy like yourself doing out here all alone?" she asked, a half smile touching her lips.

Hearing a voice behind him, Xun's back where his tattoo was began to feel sensational as soon as words left her mouth. He turned around and looked at the beautiful woman standing before him. She was so beautiful that Xun was almost speechless, he couldn't place his finger on it but something felt different about her. Realizing he had been staring he immediately got up and bowed. "I apologize mam, I was just in deep thought. I come out here to forget my troubles" Xun said softly.

The woman smiled. "Hm, but most young men who do, don't ask for an angel in their thoughts." that had finally gotten through her thoughts. Poor boy. She mentally reached out and arched an eyebrow. "I am Uriel, Currently the only resident Angel here in Tombstone. So, what exactly is your problem?" she didn't feel like playing cat and mouse, and asking a gazillion questions. "I won't hurt you unless you try to hurt me." she added. She made sure her wings and aura were hidden still, wating to see if the boy would take it on faith or not.

Xun's eyes widened, when she spoke again his markings felt sensational again. "That's weird" he thought to himself. Then she said she was an angel. Xun perked up and immediately bowed in respect. "Forgive me miss although I do not believe you for a liar by any means, I mean no disrespect but I am still relatively new to this place. But can you please prove your claim?"

She smiled, and closed her eyes. She focused inward, and as she did so, two large white wings, fluffy and grand arched high up over her bag. She started to glow. Almost golden, but not quite, and soft enough that she was see able. Her clothes changed to something longer, and white. She opened her eyes and smiled. "That good?"

[Xun Tian]

Xun nearly fell off the rock as the intense light emanated off the woman. He ended up being knocked onto his back. His heart beat was beginning to quicken. He didn't seem to notice that his markings were beginning to glow faintly. Xun bowed as a sign of reverence and respect. "F-forgive me holy being of light... I-I am unworthy to be in your presence."

She lestened the light and laughed. "Don't bow. I am not something to be worshiped. Now what do you need?" he spoke of not being worthy. She chuckled this time. "I am the decider of who is unworthy, and you are. So please, do not act as if I am something overly special." she told him calmly, crouching down to pull him up. She watched him, her glow not fully gone, but now rather comfortable.

Xun's heart beat began to slow down though he did not see his tattoos on his back were glowing bright on his back. The voice of the angel soothed his heart, he felt his uneasiness starting to slip away. Her glow still kind of hurt his eyes so he squinted. "He politely bowed his head. "I apologize Miss Uriel, when I prayed for an angel I did not know one would arrive so quick, let alone at all... My name is Xun Tian. I'm new in town, my uncle and I sell gun powder on the edge of this town." Xun looked around, the field seemed more peaceful than before.

"I-I have been plagued with constant nightmares and visions ever since I came to this town. Back in my village the elders used to say visions were either blessings or ill omens. They are warnings of things to come or clues from the past. Now I come to town learning there are demons here! I'm most troubled on what to make of everything."

The angel stood still, looking like a statue. She was an angel of the highest order. Dark eyes were soft, but unreadable. "Uriel. Just Uriel. And I was walking. Came upon you. When you pray, your gods, or The High Lord guides what is needed to you, or you to it. Most just don't see it." she said carefully. She waited as he spoke. "Xun Tian. May I call you Tian then? It is your given name after all." she said with a smile. She was willing to play holy angel for now.

She frowned as he spoke. "Let me touch you." she moved forward and touched the side of his face. She pulled back a bit. "A dragon. Where you ever cursed?" she spoke the first part very quietly, more to herself.

Tian looked puzzled when the angel asked him about whether or not he was cursed. "Not to my knowledge no... why do you ask?" Tian asked. His uneasiness started to rush back to him.

[Sofia Diaz-Castello]

She breathed easily. "Relax boy. You are... a dragon. Chinese. Which mean's you've got a learning curve to go through. Don't panic. It's nothing bad. Dragons are... special. Dangerous, but powerful. Almost as powerful as an Angel, but one can learn to be as powerful, without having my kind of power. You my young friend, are a Dragon. Quite charming. Haven't had that kind of... problem in a while." she told the boy with a half smile.

[Xun Tian]

Tian backed away, her words, as highly ludicrous as they sounded pierced Tian like a spear. His visions started to appear in his his head. He began to sweat and his breathe started to become heavy. The image of his parents looking up in fear, the loud and terrible roar, the bright flames burning his village all started to make sense to him.

"No... No... No... I couldn't! I wouldn't!" he thought to himself as tears of anger and disbelief started forming in his eyes. The terrible images kept flashing through his head as he stepped back further from Uriel. Tian's Dragon Tattoo glowed brightly and the tattooed words rage began to appear and glow brightly on his back. The sky was beginning to grow darker.

She sighed and stepped forward reaching out towards him, but not touching him. She sent out as much claiming emotion as possible, and glared at him. "I told you not to panic. You Chinese like your dragons. They are merciful, and very intelligent. Now relax." she ordered the young man, her dark eyes calm, hoping he'd do as ordered.

[Xun Tian]

Tian's could hear his heart beat quicken. The tears came out but he refused to believe he murdered his whole village. His tattoo became brighter than ever. He looked up at the angel, she was speaking but all he could hear were muffled sounds. He stepped back again this time almost losing his footing.

"I-I couldn't.... I wouldn't!" he kept muttering. The images kept flashing in his head, each stinging his heart more than the last. Until he collapsed onto his knees, facing the ground trembling. "Stop... please..." Tian whispered. A magical aura was around him. The sky was dark as that of a storm, the wind started picking up.
