Welcome to an era of education, discovery, and art.
This is a time where men and women alike are springing to their full potential; and although the Renaissance is just beginning, already enlightenment is trickling into the minds of the best and brightest. In the Kingdome our lovely story is set in, there are firm believers of old and excited worshippers of new… whether you follow the progression of art and science or stay behind in the dark is up to you.
Romance is also blooming, the ideals of courtly love continuing to grow despite the increase of religion and knowledge on the horizon. Forbidden lovers meet in secret within the castle’s gardens and deep within the forest, separated in public by birthright or occupation. More common than not these end in tragedy as one of the lovers is forced into an arranged marriage, forever separated from their true loves… but some manage to escape the confines of the court and give up their titles forever, content to love with their loved one in poverty.
Where will you be when the Renaissance kicks into gear; a headstrong prosecutor or lighthearted defendant?
