A tall woman, with dark brown hair and eyes. Usually dressed up in a pretty dress, she wasn't today. Today she was in jeans, boots and a hat. The whole outfit. She moved into the saloon easily. The golden stallion standing outside snorted, and whinnied. She glanced around. Not many would recognize her right now. She was just a another woman. hence why she loved to wear 'western' clothing. Working stuff. She moved to the bar and sat down.

She ignored those around her, nodding to the man behind the bar, and got a whiskey. She smiled a little. Alcohol was bad for angels and demons, but hell, she'd had that kind of day. Gabriel had visted and ripped her a new one for leaving the group of angels that did the High Lord's work. She was having a bad day.

Uriel knew that any demon, or angel would see the extra bit of 'light' that came from being around other Arch-Angels. She was again a target. Luckly the rules of engagement were to the point where no fighting here in Tombstone, no magical ones anyways. Mortals were included in that. Though demon's often forgot that. She sipped the whiskey, ignoring the taste. She'd had worse. There was the mudder stuff in Egypt millennias ago. And that weird stuff from Mesopotamia. Whisky was nothing.

Noticing the extra bit of supernatural light emanating in the room, Lamaye turned towards the source, and noticed a familiar woman sitting at a table by herself. Lamaye narrowed her eyes. Angel... In her time here, Lamaye had seen this woman around the town, but never found the opportunity to approach. Now was that opportunity.

With an ironic graceful ease, Lamaye made her way through the crowd, and say herself opposite of this angelic being. Lamaye doubted that her true identity would be known to this women. Unless she had a sixth sense for sensing evil, even evil as young as her own, she'd have no other way of knowing. Still, Lamaye was curious.

"You look rather alone," she commented, as she set her own bottle of whiskey on the table. "Would you like some company?"

Uriel turned her head to look at the being beside her. There was a dark aura around her. A demon then. It wasn't the dark aura that a black magic practictioner would have. It was a deeper feel. Humans were neutral beings, they were gray, and depending on their actions, their aura faded into the black or white range, but the gray was always there. Angels were white, and colors. Demons were black and colors.

The angel didn't respond at first. She continued to eye the demon beside her. Well she had her own secrets, but still. "Who says i'm alone demon?" she asked turning to eye the woman. "And who says I consort with the darker side of this town?" she was being a bitch, but she'd had a long bad day.

Lamaye smirked. So...she can sense the demonic. Curious... As this angel displayed an obvious rejection of Lamaye's offer, she took a long sip of her whiskey.

"You came in here, did you not?" Lamaye asked. She looked back at the drunk, disorderly men who actively pursued Lamaye's fellow Saloon girls. "You came into the "darker side of town". If you don't like it, there is the door."

Uriel snorted as the woman spoke. "Look. It's tombstone. I can go wherever the hell I want. And sometimes A gal just wants to be left alone, and not worry about where she is."

[/color] she added, more grumpy than anything else. If only this woman knew who she was dealing with. Even among the humans Uriel inspired awe... Mainly because they knew nothing of her.

The angel sighed. She couldn't be mean for long. "Though I do have to ask why such a young demon can 'see' me. Usually only the older ones even notice me." the angel said softly, eyeing the saloon girl.[/size]

Lamaye's eyebrow rose as the angel gave a rather angelic reply. She couldn't help but be surprised by her bluntness. Lamaye tended to stereotype angels as the good-doers and nice-talkers of the celestial world. To hear one speak in such a way was a fascinating display.

As the angel asked about Lamaye's abilities, she thought carefully before responding. "What makes you think I'm 'young'?"

Uriel laughed as she spoke. "Girl, I've been around a great deal longer than I look. You are young, you feel young, you look young. I could go ask a demon I know and see exactly how young, but your a young human and an even younger demon." she said with a smile.

She leaned back, taking another sip of her drink. "You'll someday hate the fact that you live so long." she said easily.

That revealed information that Lamaye wanted to know. This was obviously a seasoned angel, which meant she knew many things that Lamaye would like to learn. Finding a way to make this angel talk would be quite a challenging, though interesting, endeavor.

Lamaye decided to take a more subtle approach: the sympathy card. It was time to see what kind of angel this war. Her expression changed after the last comment. She let out a sigh, and put on a very solemn tone. "Believe me, I regret it all ready. I had a good life you know. I was happy. Then I was ripped away from my life, and shed of my humanity. This is what I become. I hate who I am, but I am it nonetheless. What choice do I have?"

Lamaye looked at the angel with as falsely genuine sadness as she could. To most humans, it would be an excellent performance. But to a seasoned angel, Lamaye was uncertain. Perhaps she would buy it, perhaps not. But it was worth a try nonetheless.

Uriel eyed the demon. She was good. Very very good. But sadly, Uriel was a bit to experienced. She continued to watch the girl from under her hat. Her dark eyes were neutral now. She waited until the demon was done talking.

"You are good. Very good. But I've been around a long time. Come out and ask the question you want to ask. I don't have time for those who are going to try to be on stage." she said a bit sharply, the annoyance filling her voice, the whisky hearable. No demon or angel could deal with drinks all that well. She was getting drunk for a reason though.

As this angel seemed to catch onto Lamaye's deception, she immediately dropped the charade, and returned to her previous tone. "Alright; it's quite simple actually. I want to know who you are, and what you know. As you have already pointed out, I am young. I want to learn, and know more."

Lamaye shifted her body weight, and crossed her legs. "Think about it this way: either I can learn from you, where you can control what I know, and how I learn it. OR...I can learn from a demon, who will no doubt distort any information to his own end. It's your choice." As she waited for a response, Lamaye causally down the last bit of whiskey in her mug.

The angel waited. Her gaze was on the rather cute bartender. Well he was older, but still. He was obviously only working there because he had to. She turned her gaze on the demon as she spoke. Laughter bubbled up from deep inside of her.

The woman shook her head, unable to fully stop laughing for a moment. "You, Dear Demon, are the oddest demon I have ever met in my entire life. Wanting to be trained by an angel? Really? How do I know your not just trying to sabatoge me?" she asked the girl watching her carefully. The demon was lucky to catch Uriel getting drunk. "By the way, I'm Uriel." she said with a half smile. That was a name even humans knew.

Lamaye simply shrugged. "You don't know, but I can garuntee your that learning what you know is more important to me than simply being a nuisance to you."

She looked Uriel from top to bottom. So this was what the famous Uriel looked like... Lamaye had wondered just how high up this angel was. Now she knew. This certainly would be an interesting experience. "Humans call me Abigail; you can call me Lamaye."

The angel arched her eyebrows. "I must say you are unique. I've never had a demon ask for help from me." She thought about it for a moment, dark brown eyes amused. This was a new turn. Hm. She remembered that moment when she'd only hurt Lucifer when she could have killed him. She nodded.

Uriel laughed. "I am Sofia to you, you are Abigail to me. Lamaye is hidden, secret identiy kind of thing. If you learn from me, you will not show humans what you are, or who you are. You will have to stop working here, and move to Havenbound Ranch. You'll get a job there. There are other rules, but among them is doing what I say when I say it. And believe me when I say that if you cross me I will kill you." she said, her voice entirely quite, and calm. The threat was said softly, and calmly, showing that she was not a nice nice angel. And infact, she would do as she said.

Lamaye listened intently at the demands as Uriel listed them. She hated them, but she had to abide by them if she wanted to achieve her goal. This angel could teach her. It didn't matter whether it was good or evil. Both had their place, and could help her in the future. Would she choose one over the other? Well...that was for the future.

"I understand. But I want to make one thing clear; I am a demon. You ca. teach me, and I will listen, but when this is all said and done, I am still who I am. One day I will have to chose, and your enemy has quite an advantage over me."

Another laugh bubbled up from the angels belly. She was feeling a great deal more relaxed, which could be dangerous. She looked at the young demon, and smiled, it was predatorial. "You don't know what's dangerous yet, Lamaye. You will. Don't believe angels are all light and happy, we have a dangerous role to play, as much as a demon. I know your nature, I've been around for a long while."

[/color] she stood up as she finished her drink. Her boots clunked on the floor.

Drunk was the angel, but it didn't show, much. She looked at the young demon. "Everyone has a choice. There are fallen angels, there are Demon's who walk in the light. It's your choice, always. See you in three days. We'll see about getting you a good horse then. Havenbound isn't that far out of town, close enough that the rules of neutrality still stick. Hope to see you then." She said carefully, focusing on talking, and staying still. Drunk Uriel was, well... Funny. Her ability to get slightly drunk of such a small drink (ok two of them), was because she was an angel. It was both angelic and demonic trait that both were very suseptable to human alcohol. They had their own special kinds which acted on them like the normal stuff did on humans, but she enjoyed the looseness. She walked off, keeping her balance, only through training, though she didn't wobble at all.[/size]
